My Fortunate Run At Baccarat

[ English ]

I call this story my "lucky baccarat morning" except morning is rushing it a bit. It was far more like my lucky baccarat half an hour. It was a morning which produced me a believer in persons who know that destiny or fortune or whatever is on their side and they promptly act upon it. I was pleased I found the appropriate person at the appropriate time so I could act too.

There is practically nothing like hitting a great run at the punto banco table. I got up at 8am and walked down to have my typical cup of black tea with no intentions of betting anything previous to I’d had at least 2 cups along with a sausage sandwich. I ran into a friend of mine who wagers on baccarat chemin de fer and quickly changed my thinking.

The man in question may be very very good at the game and also terrible. If he is on he cannot lose and I make money with him simply because I follow whatever his "bet" offers.

Realizing I had departed my room with nothing but $30 in my wallet because I only planned to get some food, I stuck it in the money area. The dealer declared "money plays".

I could tell my friend was "spot on" as soon as he sat down. It was practically as if fate had smiled on him that morning and given him a prod to play at that punto banco table. I took the entire thirty dollars and pushed it up to nine hundred and sixty dollars.

I took the $900 earnings and began over with sixty dollars and pushed it as much as $1920 and was ready to start over with $100 when he said: "that is it and it is gone". As I had played with him before on numerous occasions, I knew he was most likely appropriate. Everyone refers to him as the "hit and run kid" so I did not encourage him to stick around.

He had created a profit of more than $5000 and determined it was time for some breakfast. After tips and hints and a handful of other expenses, I walked away from the table with around twenty eight hundred dollars.
