Punto Banco Practices and Scheme
Punto Banco Rules
Punto banco is gambled on with 8 decks in a dealing shoe. Cards under 10 are valued at face value and with 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Bets are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not actual people; they simply represent the 2 hands that are dealt).
Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The score for every hand is the total of the 2 cards, although the 1st digit is discarded. For instance, a hand of five and six has a total of 1 (five plus six equals 11; drop the first ‘one’).
A additional card can be dealt using the rules below:
- If the gambler or house has a value of 8 or nine, the two players stand.
- If the player has 5 or less, he takes a card. Players otherwise stand.
- If the player holds, the banker hits on a total lower than 5. If the player hits, a chart is employed to see if the bank stays or takes a card.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds
The greater of the 2 hands wins. Winning wagers on the house payout 19:20 (equal money less a five percent rake. Commission are kept track of and paid off when you leave the table so make sure you have money left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pays one to one. Winning bets for tie usually pay 8 to 1 but on occasion 9:1. (This is a awful wager as a tie occurs lower than one in every 10 hands. Be cautious of putting money on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for nine to one versus 8 to 1)
Wagered on properly baccarat provides fairly decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.
Baccarat Scheme
As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has some general misconceptions. One of which is close to a absurdity in roulette. The past isn’t a prophecy of future actions. Keeping score of past outcomes on a chart is a poor use of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life for our paper desires.
The most established and likely the most acknowledged plan is the 1-3-2-6 technique. This tactic is deployed to maximize winnings and limit losses.
Start by betting one dollar. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the game table for a total of three dollars on the second bet. Should you succeed you will have 6 on the game table, take away four so you have 2 on the 3rd wager. If you win the 3rd round, add two on the four on the game table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth round.
If you do not win on the 1st round, you take a hit of one. A profit on the first round followed by a hit on the second causes a hit of two. Wins on the first 2 with a hit on the 3rd gives you with a gain of two. And success on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th means you balance the books. Succeeding at all 4 bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. This means you can not win on the second round five times for each favorable run of 4 bets and in the end, are even.
