Baccarat Banque Standards
Baccarat chemin de fer is played with eight decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards below 10 are counted at their printed value while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not really people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).
Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The total for each hand is the sum of the 2 cards, however the 1st digit is ignored. For instance, a hand of five and six has a total of one (5 plus six equals 11; ignore the initial ‘1′).
