Baccarat Regulations

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards which are valued less than ten are counted at their printed value while at the same time ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they strictly represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The total for each hand will be the total of the 2 cards, but the very first digit is dropped. For e.g., a hand of seven and five gives a tally of two (sevenplus5=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A third card may be given out depending on the foll. standards:

- If the bettor or banker has a tally of 8 or nine, both gamblers stand.

- If the bettor has five or less, he hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the player hits, a chart might be used in order to decide if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the two scores will be the winner. Winning stakes on the banker pay 19 to 20 (even money less a five % commission. Commission is monitored and cleared out when you leave the table so be sure to have dollars remaining before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to one. Winner bets for tie generally pay out 8 to one and sometimes nine to one. (This is a terrible wager as ties will occur less than one every ten hands. be wary of laying money on a tie. Nonetheless odds are appreciably better – nine to one vs. 8 to one)

When done smartly, baccarat presents relatively decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Tactics

As with every games, Baccarat has some well-known false impressions. One of which is close to a misconception of roulette. The past is never actually a predictor of future events. Keeping track of old results on a chart is simply a complete waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most commonly used and probably most successful technique is the 1-3-two-six method. This technique is deployed to boost successes and limiting risk.

commence by betting one unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, take away four so you have 2 on the third bet. If you win the 3rd bet, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a total of 6 on the 4th bet.

If you lose on the 1st bet, you take a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet quickly followed by loss on the second causes a loss of two. Wins on the first two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you come out even. Getting a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. Thus you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
