Baccarat Regulations and Scheme

Punto Banco Codes

Baccarat is played with 8 decks in a dealing shoe. Cards valued less than ten are worth their printed number and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is one. Bets are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The score for each hand is the sum total of the two cards, although the first digit is dumped. e.g., a hand of 5 and six has a value of one (5 plus 6 = 11; dump the 1st ‘1′).

A third card can be given depending on the following rules:

- If the player or house gets a total of 8 or 9, both players stay.

- If the gambler has 5 or less, she hits. Players stands otherwise.

- If the player stays, the banker hits on five or lower. If the gambler hits, a table is used to decide if the banker stands or takes a card.

Punto Banco Odds

The higher of the 2 totals wins. Winning bets on the banker payout nineteen to Twenty (even money minus a 5% rake. The Rake is recorded and cleared out once you depart the table so be sure to have funds left over just before you quit). Winning bets on the player pays out at 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie usually pays out at 8 to 1 but on occasion 9:1. (This is a awful bet as a tie occurs less than 1 in every ten hands. Be wary of putting money on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly better for nine to one versus eight to one)

Gambled on properly baccarat chemin de fer offers fairly good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has some general misconceptions. One of which is similar to a false impression in roulette. The past isn’t a harbinger of future actions. Recording past outcomes on a sheet of paper is a waste of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our stationary desires.

The most common and probably the most successful method is the 1-3-2-6 tactic. This tactic is employed to build up profits and limit risk.

Start by placing 1 dollar. If you succeed, add 1 more to the two on the table for a sum total of 3 units on the second bet. Should you win you will now have 6 on the table, remove four so you are left with 2 on the third bet. If you win the third wager, put down two to the four on the game table for a grand total of 6 on the 4th wager.

Should you lose on the 1st round, you take a hit of one. A win on the initial bet followed by a loss on the 2nd causes a hit of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the third provides you with a profit of two. And wins on the 1st three with a hit on the 4th means you break even. Winning at all 4 bets leaves you with twelve, a gain of 10. This means you will be able to squander the second bet five times for each favorable run of 4 bets and still experience no loss.
