Baccarat is wagered on with 8 decks in a shoe. Cards under ten are counted at face value and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not actual people; they just represent the 2 hands that are dealt).
