Punto Banco Practices and Scheme

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Policies

Baccarat chemin de fer is bet on with eight decks in a shoe. Cards under 10 are worth their printed value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t really people; they simply represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The score for each hand is the total of the two cards, although the beginning digit is dropped. e.g., a hand of five and six has a value of one (5 plus 6 = eleven; ditch the first ‘one’).

A additional card will be given out using the rules below:

- If the gambler or house achieves a value of 8 or 9, the two players stay.

- If the gambler has less than 5, she hits. Players stands otherwise.

- If the player stands, the house hits on five or lower. If the gambler hits, a chart is used to figure out if the bank holds or hits.

Punto Banco Odds

The better of the two totals wins. Winning wagers on the house pay out 19:20 (equal cash less a five percent rake. Commission are tracked and paid off when you leave the table so ensure you still have cash left over before you quit). Winning wagers on the player pay 1:1. Winning bets for a tie typically pays 8 to 1 but occasionally 9:1. (This is a poor bet as ties happen less than 1 in every 10 hands. Be cautious of putting money on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly better for 9 to 1 versus eight to one)

Gambled on correctly baccarat gives fairly good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Punto Banco Method

As with all games baccarat banque has a handful of familiar false impressions. One of which is similar to a false impression in roulette. The past is not a fore-teller of events yet to happen. Recording past results at a table is a bad use of paper and an affront to the tree that was cut down for our paper needs.

The most familiar and almost certainly the most acknowledged course of action is the 1-3-2-6 plan. This plan is used to maximize winnings and limit losses.

Start by betting one chip. If you succeed, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a sum of three units on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the game table, take away 4 so you keep two on the third bet. Should you succeed on the third round, deposit two on the 4 on the table for a total of 6 on the 4th round.

Should you do not win on the initial round, you take a hit of one. A win on the 1st bet followed by a hit on the second causes a hit of 2. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you with a profit of 2. And wins on the initial three with a loss on the fourth means you balance the books. Succeeding at all four wagers leaves you with 12, a take of ten. This means you can lose the second round 5 times for each successful streak of four bets and still are even.
