Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards under 10 are of face value and on the other hand 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they only depict the two hands to be played).

Two hands of 2 cards will now be dealt to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The total for every hand is the grand total of the two cards, but the first digit is dumped. For eg, a hand of seven and five produces a value of two (sevenplus5=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card could be dealt depending on the following protocols:

- If the bettor or banker has a total of 8 or nine, both gamblers stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, he/she hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the bettor hits, a chart is used to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the two scores will be the winner. Winning bets on the banker pay out nineteen to 20 (even odds minus a 5 percent commission. Commission is kept track of and cleared out when you leave the table so be sure to have money still before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to one. Winning bets for tie usually pays out at eight to one but occasionally 9 to 1. (This is not a good wager as ties will occur less than 1 every 10 hands. be wary of laying money on a tie. Even so odds are significantly better – 9 to one versus eight to 1)

When played properly, baccarat offers generally good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with most games, Baccarat has some established false impressions. 1 of which is very similar to a roulette myth. The past is never actually an indicator of future outcomes. Tracking of past results on a chart is undoubtedly a waste of paper as well as a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most established and feasibly most successful technique is the one-three-2-six technique. This method is deployed to accentuate winnings and cutting back risk.

start by wagering one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, take away 4 so you have two on the 3rd wager. If you win the third wager, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a grand total of six on the 4th gamble.

If you don’t win on the initial wager, you take a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the 2nd brings about a loss of two. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you come out even. Attaining a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Therefore you can fail to win the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
